Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013 and then was injured repeatedly to her knees, which caused Allana to retire from the field. The Australian returned to the soccer after a few years. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women was in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Allana added radio to the game, and has frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson is the only Australian to represent Australia in the rugby sevens competition and the rugby league, in addition to touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' top player in rugby has to call time on her professional career because of tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She already, had tears to the same ligament at the age of 15, 17 and 20, when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her time was done. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's playmaker. The decision to leave was due to her 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' player confirmed the situation to The Courier Mail this week after suffering an injury during training in November.
